Training Faculty Program Expectations

The CMB is a student-centered program and mentors are expected to be involved in training activities that benefit the trainees. Mentors are required to: 1) take master-facilitator-led mentor training; 2) provide an environment conducive to student development; 3) effectively mentor and train students (including discussing each student’s IDP yearly); 4) contribute to CMB course improvements or lead class sessions in the required CMB courses; 5) participate in CMB structured activities; and 6) promote the CMB internally and externally.
